Built during the Federation era, Brantwood retains some original features. The doors, high ceilings, timber lined walls and weatherboard exterior all allude to its old world authenticity. Meticulously renovated by Melandra Homes, Brantwood is new again and meets all the demands and expectations of contemporary living.

The enchanting master bedroom is a restful haven, combining French provincial furnishings with luxury linens and delicate colour schemes. It’s an idyllic retreat for couples who wish to while their mornings away, seal themselves off from the rest of the world and spend real time together. The adjoining Victorian style bathroom is fully equipped with fluffy towels and Earlsley & Windsor toiletries. Enjoy the ease of a walk-in shower or indulge your senses in the deep soaker tub that’s simply designed for tranquillity and bubbles. Scented soy candles are also provided to encourage a relaxed and romantic mood. French doors open out onto the front veranda. Drenched with morning sun, it is an elegant outdoor space where you can enjoy a lingering breakfast while reading the morning news.

The second bedroom reflects Brantwood’s chic French country charm. The bedroom overlooks the leafy rear garden and an earthy palette of soft mochas, mints and blues has been chosen to encourage a restful night’s slumber. The third bedroom is located on the sunny side of the cottage and is furnished with two king single beds. Tastefully decorated using fine linens and downy doonas, this bedroom is suitable for adults or children.

What’s cooking? At Brantwood we supply ample breakfast provisions for your first morning. Fresh free range eggs, bacon, milk, bread, a variety of conserves, cereals, plunger and instant coffee plus a selection of delicious detox teas from T2 and Two Leaves.

Warm and welcoming, the open plan kitchen and dining area is ideal for guests who prefer to stay in and prepare a home cooked meal. The kitchen is custom made and well appointed. Enjoy the luxury of Caesar stone bench tops, Smeg appliances and gas top cooking. We provide bakeware, stemware, crockery and cutlery to suit your entertaining style. Bake a Yulefest turkey, a breaky of bacon and eggs, or with easy access to the rear deck you can fire up the BBQ for a spot of alfresco dining. Bon Appétit!

Be mesmerised by the flames of the roaring log fire. The lounge room is a comfortable space where you can enjoy the company of loved ones. At the fading end of the day the ambiance is relaxed and welcoming, offering a choice of wind-down entertainment. After a full day out and about in the beautiful Blue Mountains the stylish wrap-around lounge with comfortable recliners is inviting. There is a flat screen television with Austar movie choices, DVD player, CD player, a library of DVDs, CDs and books and an iPod docking station. Games and fluffy toys are also provided for the children. It’s the perfect corner to spend an evening recapping the day’s adventures while indulging in a glass of fine wine.

We have chosen original paintings and prints by local artists and artists who were inspired while visiting the region. Works by Andrew Ireland, Linda Callaghan, Graham Gercken, Warwick Fuller, Tanya Loviz and Rossmore James Campbell adorn the walls at Brantwood.
